Grey Horse to release first CD on July 8 with pre-order currently available. Born Samuel Olivo, Jr., Samuel Grey Horse became known in Austin as the Sixth Street Cowboy before the legal name change this year to recognize his Native identity.

Grey Horse Album CoverThe Grey Horse CD celebrates an all-star collaboration with some of the most sought after session and touring musicians. Produced by Rick “Casper” Rawls who also provides significant guitar work, the CD includes the energy of David Grissom, Glenn Fukunaga, Bukka Allen, Warren Hood, Tommy Detamore, Nico Leophonte, and Alex Marrero.

The Grey Horse CD features songs that touch the heart and define Native country music. From the autobiographical Arrested On Horseback to Breathe, Maybe Someday, and Toksha Ake Kola, Samuel Grey Horse exhilarates on the songs he penned. Anchored by two classics made famous by Johnny Rodriguez, the CD also includes songs by several up-and-coming songwriters.

Recorded at Alnico Studio in Austin, Texas, the Grey Horse CD was mixed at Wire Recording by Stuart Sullivan; mastered at Terra Nova Digital Audio by Jerry Tubb; and manufactured at Any and All Media by Matt Eskey.

This is the first of a series of releases by Native Country Music for the Grey Horse CD.
